IEC’s Intelligent Equipment Center Laboratory Achieves CNAS Accreditation

At the beginning of 2023, IEC Inc.’s self-established Intelligent Equipment Center Laboratory received accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). The laboratory has been certified as compliant with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards for testing and calibration laboratory competence (CNAS-CL01 standards). This recognition allows IEC to use the CNAS accreditation mark as per CNAS regulations.

Strategic Importance
Testing is fundamental to verifying technological research and ensuring product quality. The accreditation affirms the lab’s capabilities in supporting IEC’s quality control efforts while enhancing its reputation as a trusted partner in international collaborations. The lab will also provide robust support for IEC’s future research and development endeavors.

Key Activities
The Intelligent Equipment Center Laboratory is equipped to perform a wide range of critical tests, including:

· Performance testing for seismic isolation bearings.

· On-site bolt force calibration experiments in collaboration with Professor Guoqing Gou’s ultrasonic non-destructive testing team from Southwest Jiaotong University.

· Cable force calibration trials with experts from the China Testing Technology Research Institute, including verification of in-situ calibration results for intelligent equipment.

This accreditation represents another milestone in IEC’s journey toward strengthening its technical foundation and advancing its role as a leader in intelligent construction and engineering solutions.
