In May 2017, IEC Inc. was awarded the contract for the viscous fluid damper project of the Han Cheng Taishi Street West Extension Bridge. This recognition underscores the trust in the company’s technological innovation, quality, and overall capabilities, establishing a foundation for further market expansion.

The Taishi Street West Extension Bridge serves as a vital link between National Highway 108, Xiangshan Scenic Area, Xiangshan District, and the city center. Key project details include:

· Total bridge length: 1,780 meters, featuring a 236-meter-long and 25.6-meter-wide scenic arch tower cable-stayed bridge.

· Seismic design parameters: 7-degree intensity zone, 0.15g seismic fortification.

· Components supplied: Ten 250-ton viscous dampers with ±300mm displacement stroke and over 300 cable dampers.

IEC’s selection as the supplier for both viscous dampers and cable bearings highlights its leadership in seismic technology solutions.
