On December 30, 2022, the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Department released the 2022 list of “Gazelle Enterprises,” naming IEC Inc. (now IEC Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.) among the recognized companies. This selection followed a rigorous multi-step process, including document review, project defense, and on-site verification.
About the Gazelle Enterprise Program
The program evaluates enterprises based on growth in revenue and profits, R&D investment, proprietary intellectual property, and core technological advantages. It aims to identify and support high-growth, innovative companies with new industrial models and significant market potential. The initiative contributes to building an upgraded innovation ecosystem in Sichuan, promoting high-quality economic development.

Provincial Impact
According to Sichuan’s Department of Science and Technology, 62 new Gazelle Enterprises were added in 2022, bringing the total to 214. The province aims to accelerate the development of a tiered innovation enterprise ecosystem, supporting technology-driven SMEs, Gazelle Enterprises, and industry-leading corporations. These efforts will further position Sichuan as a hub for high-tech, niche, and specialized industries.
